My name is Regina Horton. I am married to Mark Horton, and we have three children. Our daughter, Leanne, is married to Josh and they have four children. (Leah, Ben, Sam, and Eli.) Our oldest son, Michael, is married to Kim and they have one child. (Madison) Our youngest son, Andrew, is married to Lindsy and they have two children. (Leelan and Tucker.) I am a member of Dixon Springs Missionary Baptist Church where my husband is the pastor and I play the piano. I absolutely ADORE my family and enjoy spending every minute I can with them!

I graduated from Beech High School in Hendersonville, TN, in 1983. I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom while raising our children. I began my college career at the age of 37. I graduated from VSCC in 2003, TSU in 2005, and Cumberland University in 2007. I took a short break then obtained my Ed.S Degree from TTU in 2013.

I began my teaching career at Westside in the fall of 2005. I taught first grade for four years, kindergarten for two years, second grade for two years, and am in my third year of teaching fifth grade.

Each grade I have taught and each student that I have been fortunate to have in my classroom has been special. I am looking forward to many more years of teaching and meeting lots of new students each year.
